I was reflecting on my writing journey recently, and it hit me—it’s been a year since I wrote my first letter, Discovering Serenity in a Stressful World.
Now, 52 issues later, I’m still here, pen in hand, sharing my thoughts with you every Saturday.
This letter is for you—the ones who’ve been with me through this journey, whether from the start or somewhere along the way.
This time, I want to take you behind the scenes of my writing process, the ups and downs, the muses and the ghosts.
And to frame this, I’ll lean on the old code of chivalry.
You see, this code has been my guiding light in moments of doubt and discouragement.
It’s not just for knights in shining armor; it’s for modern men—and women—looking to live a life of purpose and impact.
If you’re a woman reading this, know that my main inspiration comes from Jacqueline Kelen.
Her words have shaped my thoughts as much as the men I’ve guided along the way.
Whether you’re a man or a woman, I hope this letter inspires you and deepens your understanding of the men in your life.
Today, many men are lost—torn between extremes.
They’re either overly independent, trying to do everything alone, or they’ve become so kind they’re almost too soft, docile, and inert.
Have you ever wondered if your work truly reflects who you are? Or worried that your message won’t resonate?
These doubts aren’t unique to you—they’re signals that you’re striving for more.
Living with honor, courage, vulnerability, and humility isn’t just for knights—it’s for anyone wanting to live a life that matters.
So, let’s dive in.
Some of you have been reading my letters since 2017-2018, back when I was writing in French.
Over time, people have come and gone.
And while many more have joined than left, I’ve often asked myself, “Is it worth it?”
In the most difficult moments, I wanted to quit.
But men of honor ask: “What is life expecting from me?”.
Honor is an individualistic quality. It doesn’t need the validation of others.
I embody honor when I stay true to my principles.
It’s about doing what you say you’ll do, no matter what.
I committed to writing, and I owe it to myself first and foremost.
For a modern man, living with honor means aligning actions with beliefs.
When you do this, people trust you, and more importantly, you trust yourself.
In my writing, honor means sharing what’s true to me, even when it’s challenging.
It’s ensuring every word reflects my deepest beliefs.
It’s about having dignity and keeping my word.
Living with honor isn’t always easy, but it’s the path to a fulfilling and respected life.
52 issues in, and I’m still here, writing and sharing.
I’ve had my doubts.
Do they read?
Is my English up to par?
Do they find it useful or inspiring?
Why do people unsubscribe? What’s wrong with me?
These moments of doubt are where courage is born.
Courage isn’t just about bravery in the face of danger—it’s about facing your fears and being open about who you really are.
Knights went into battle, even when they were scared.
Today, courage might mean sharing your true thoughts and feelings, even if you’re worried about what others might think.
It’s about not giving up, not just winning.
It’s about being bold enough to talk about what matters to you, even when it’s difficult.
I don’t want to stop in the midst of the path. I want to impact thousands.
Knights were often inspired by a muse—a woman who opened their hearts to beauty and perfection.
Today, love guides modern men to surpass themselves, igniting boldness and a deep desire to strive for greatness.
For me, love means remembering why I started writing in the first place—to connect with readers and inspire them on their own inner journey.
Love is about experiencing the unity that ties us all together, whether you read my words or not, whether you reply or stay silent.
To love is to embrace adventure, to journey with an open heart.
Love is demanding. It requires courage.
It pushes us to become our best selves, to seek out the unknown with courage and conviction.
In my writing, love is about thinking of each piece as an offering; it’s the force behind every word, considering how it can open your heart to the adventure of life.
Humility is about putting ego aside.
Knights knelt to a lady or a lord, not because they were weak, but because they understood their place in the larger scheme of things.
Today, humility is just as necessary.
It’s not about thinking less of yourself; it’s about recognizing that you don’t have all the answers and understanding your place in life’s larger ecosystem.
I write not because I know, but because I want to explore topics that inspire my readers on their journey toward their best selves.
Each time I do, I win.
Every piece I write becomes an inspiration for a coaching session.
Stay grounded and recognize that you’re part of something bigger, and this mindset will help you grow and make your work more relatable and authentic.
Brotherhood: Building Strong Connections
Brotherhood was vital in a knight’s life.
They relied on each other for support and strength.
Today, brotherhood is about building strong, supportive connections.
It gives us the strength to pursue our dreams, knowing we’re not alone in our journey.
I know over 225 people read my letters every week (I’ve got the stats).
It’s a beginning, but I need you to make this bigger.
Brotherhood isn’t just camaraderie—it’s about a network of support and accountability.
So, here’s where I turn to you.
Who are you?
What’s your story?
What brought you here in the first place?
I’m opening a space for all of us to connect and grow together.
Send me a message and let's start a conversation.
This will start building a larger community of courageous and humble men and women on their journey toward humanity.
